Finished in a Silver Bichromate to BS EN 1670: 2007 Grade 4. This impressive locking system is Police Secured by Design approved, and has been fully tested to PAS 23: 1999 and PAS 24: 2007, and surpasses BS EN 14351-1: 2006. 10 Year guarantee. These locks are universal, to change hands you simply loosen a screw at the rear of the lock box case and rotate the latch, once rotated to the correct hand you simply tighten the screw again to secure. The locks are available with a square end, 16mm or 20mm faceplate for stability and ease of routing. The 20mm faceplate version is also available as a radius end. The locks are also available in 35mm, 45mm & 55mm backsets and 92mm Euro Profile lock centres. Please note that keeps are supplied separately.
Size 1 & Size 2 - this denote the dimension between the top of the lock box to the bottom of either the hook lock or twin tapered top bolt box, "Size 1 = 455mm" & "Size 2 = 600mm".
How to read the part number and what the code means, for instance a ML60S-45-1-SV is broken down to the following;
ML60S = The type of locking system used (S means Square End, R means Radius End) ML60 has a 20mm Face Plate where as a ML66 has a 16mm Face Plate.
45 = 45mm Backset dimension.
1 = Size 1 lock is specified (see above noted regarding size).
