We really value the great relationships we have with our customers and listening to their needs and coming up with new and improved solutions has been a keen focus of our service here at Coastal Group.

So we were delighted with the feedback we got from our recent ‘Driven By You’ mailing which asked you to tell us about any innovations, products or ideas that would help make your working life easier.

The range of topics covered were, as you would imagine, diverse with ideas for new products, suggestions for updated ones and requests for existing product lines in different shapes and sizes.

 

One common theme that we highlighted from the feedback however was the interest in time and labour saving devices that will help simplify installation out on site. This included requests for cutters and tooling which we will be discussing with our tooling supplier Whitehall Spindle Tools.

 

“There is no doubt that the feedback we received really highlighted that time is of the essence and anything we can do to help make the installation process out on site, quicker, simpler and more time efficient would certainly be welcomed. Now we have harvested these ideas we will be talking to Whitehall who we work closely with to see if there are new cutter units they can design to meet this feedback,”
said Coastal MD Loren Jenner.

The team is now looking at the specific feedback received to see exactly where they can come up with some new solutions. We will be able to update you later in the year on specific solutions we have come up with in response to these requests.

Market Assist from Coastal provides joiners with vital support

Marketing Assist Programme

Door and window hardware specialist Coastal Group is providing joinery firms across the UK with a vital sales tool to help them market their services and product offerings more professionally to their customers.

Its unique Market Assist Programme is designed to enable joinery firms to market themselves more effectively by using the free marketing support service from Coastal’s marketing department, creating tailored materials for them.

Thanks to the service, joinery firms are provided with their own professionally designed brochures that are branded with the joinery firms’ own logos, company details and contact numbers.

Products promoted in the brochure are varied and include bi-Fold doors, Tritus flush casement windows, and various window and door hardware applications.

Artwork is offered to Coastal customers without cost which in addition to the brochure, can also be incorporated in to their web and online marketing platforms.
