Coastal has used the latest interlocking multi-point door technology to launch a new Stable Door Lock, providing quality, security and weather-tightness in one.
The new stable door locking system compliments Coastal’s existing door lock range providing ease of fitting and flexibility along with a range of end user benefits.
Once installed, the top sash can be opened whilst the bottom sash remains locked, or both sashes can be locked together to form one door. In the closed position each sash has its own independent locking system.
On the bottom sash, the cylinder winds out the deadbolt into the frame, and fires the interlocking part up into the upper sash, whilst on the top sash, the hook is thrown by the handle, then deadlocked by the cylinder.
Chamfered hook bolts and a silent latch function have been incorporated into the system which can be used with MK7 and MK9 keeps. The keep centres can also be specified as can the handle configuration options by visiting the stable door product information on the Coastal Group website.
Designed and manufactured in conjunction with internationally renowned lock specialists MACO, datacard drawings and specifications are also available from the Coastal website.
