Located in Swindon, the NSBRC is the UK’s number one venue for independent homebuilding advice and support. Since being established in 2014, the NSBRC has helped almost a quarter of a million visitors build their dream home or improve their existing property.
The NSBRC demonstrates an increased demand for high quality solutions throughout the self-build and renovation journey. Coastal use their decades of industry knowledge to educate visitors on the benefits of specifying high-performance, durable hardware that will last as long as the doors and windows they are fitted to.

The Coastal stand was introduced at the National Self Build and Renovation Show in May where it was instantly apparent there was a demand for a durable ironmongery solution.
It was pleasing to see so many visitors express interest in finding high-performance hardware with a lifetime guarantee. One visitor commented "We’re right on the coast so we want hardware that’s not only striking but stands the test of time."
Another benefit to visitors of being able to physically see and touch hardware in person really solidified the products quality.
It’s increasingly apparent that when homeowners can feel the quality of the product in their hand, they are convinced Coastal’s range is the right hardware choice for their project. Having greater exposure to the self-build market will lead to a rising demand for the BLU hardware range to be specified on doors and windows.
