That is why we are introducing Performance for Life, a new lifetime guarantee across our BLU and DURATIQUE ranges.

This guarantee has been created to give our customers complete confidence that Coastal hardware will not only look right on day one, but continue to perform for the full lifetime of the door or window it is fitted to.

What “Performance for Life” Means

Performance for Life means exactly that: our premium external hardware is engineered to perform reliably for the lifetime of the product it is installed on.

In the unlikely event that a BLU or DURATIQUE product fails under normal use, Coastal Group will:

• Replace the product

• Cover the labour cost of re-fitting the replacement

This goes beyond a standard product warranty and reflects our confidence in the durability, corrosion resistance and long-term performance of our hardware.

What's Included

The Performance for Life guarantee covers:

• Replacement product (like-for-like)

• Replacement fitting cost – labour element only

Our aim is simple: if our product fails, you should not be out of pocket for putting it right.

What's Not Included

As with any guarantee, there are clear boundaries to ensure fairness and clarity. The guarantee does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse or accidents

• Failure resulting from not following Coastal’s care and maintenance guidance

• Changes, modifications or alterations made without Coastal’s approval

How a Claim Works

We have designed the claims process to be straightforward and practical:

1. A photo of the failed product is required

2. Where possible, the original installer should carry out the replacement

3. If the original installer is unavailable, Coastal will help identify a suitable local installer

Our customer service team will guide you through each step.

Important Notes

To ensure transparency, please note the following conditions:

• Replacement will always be like-for-like

• Replacement work will only proceed once the estimated time required (including travel) has been mutually agreed

• Equipment hire costs are not included (the guarantee covers the replacement product and labour to fit only

• Coastal is not liable for redecoration or incidental damage during replacement

• The guarantee provides one replacement per product per purchaser, with exceptions reviewed on a case-by-case basis
