Following the successful launch of the app to the aluminium, composite and uPVC market, the joinery market can now take advantage of this sales tool to make design and quoting of their wooden windows and doors a lot quicker, easier and more effective.

As with PVCu and aluminium products, Tommy Trinder’s patented Framepoint® Technology allows users to free draw timber windows and doors with your finger or mouse, just like sketching on a pad. Frame and sash depths can be easily customised; it’s one touch to add deeper head sections, or traditionally proportioned deep bottom rails to flush casements or sash windows. And a raft of timber specific details - such as lambs tongue mouldings, raised and field panels, cill nosings, single glazing, and sash horns - can be visualised and priced in a tap.

Allowing clients to see how their wooden windows and doors will look in a full range of colourways is also important. Says Chris:

“Nowadays white windows and doors account for less than 50% of the domestic timber replacement market, so we’ve made sure that a full range of colour and stains are available for selection; over 32 stain choices and 300 paint finishes, including all the ever-popular Farrow and Ball colour options. The colour of all items in the quote can be changed in one click and being able to instantly see the effect on the elevation is really powerful.”

In tandem with expanding the range of finish options, the team have carried out intensive work on the graphical representations of timber items to allow the subtle swirls and whorls of timber to come through in on-screen visualisations and customer quotes in full photorealistic quality.

A whole range of our timber orientated ironmongery has also been uploaded to Framepoint® in preparation for launch of the timber suite. You can now show your customer how much better their windows and doors will look with an upgraded handle such as the increasingly popular Regent and Opera classic hardware, or some of our contemporary BLU range.

Classic and contemporary styles are catered for from our BLU Hardware Range whilst our DURATIQUE Hardware provides for those looking for quality Black Antique Hardware.
