Off-The-Shelf Tooling

As well as Bespoke options, Coastal also have available off-the-shelf shelf tooling solutions

Vari-Angle Spindle Moulder Tool

Looking to machine accurate bevels on timber profiles quickly and consistently? Coastal’s Vari-Angle tool allows you to adjust the angle of the tool whilst mounted on the spindle.

It is cleverly designed with a gearing system allowing you to rotate the top dial which in turn moves both heads

The Vari-Angle Tool helps to overcome the typical issues associated with setting up adjustable bevel tooling. Issues caused by other spindle moulder tools are:

  • Fiddly and time-consuming setting up of adjustable angle
  • Hard to achieve exact angles on both cutting edges
  • Block needs to be removed from spindle to be adjusted

3-In-1 Spindle Moulder Tool

Coastal’s 3-in-1 Spindle Moulder Tool is you solution for machining our Solo (single handle) and Klone (double handle) Double Door sections quickly and accurately in a single pass.

Joiners face several issues when machining double rebated door styles, including:

  • Inaccurate sections
  • Time consuming process
  • Increase chance of error

Coastal’s 3-in-1 Spindle Moulder Tool eliminates these issues by machining the section in one pass, ensuring accuracy and a quality finish every time. It can be used to machine the Solo Double Door, the Klone Double Door and a Single Door from wood.
