The Winkhaus AV4 multipoint door lock kit is an automatic locking system that engages as the door is closed. Using gravity-driven hooks, the lock secures automatically without needing to lift the handle or turn a key. On a double-door setup, the slave door is fitted with shootbolts (flick bolts) that secure into the head and cill of the frame. When the master door is closed, it automatically activates the gravity-driven hooks, locking the door securely.
