Returns Policy
Cancellations
1. Orders can only be cancelled with the prior written consent of the company.
2. The company reserves the right to refuse order cancellations, particularly if the goods are ready for despatch or have already been despatched.
3. Goods correctly supplied to order are not eligible for return.
4. The company may agree to accept a return voluntarily, but is under no obligation to do so.
- If a return is accepted, a handling fee of 25% of the purchase price will apply.
- The buyer must return the goods at their own expense, ensuring they are free from defects.
5. Returned goods must be in their original packaging and in resaleable condition. The company reserves the right to refuse credit for items deemed unsuitable for resale.
Damaged, Lost, or Defective Goods
1. Goods damaged during transit will be replaced free of charge, provided written notice is given to both the carrier and the company within three days of delivery.
2. Upon delivery, goods should be inspected against the accompanying Advice Note. If the goods are damaged or unsatisfactory, they must be signed for as such.
3. Shortages must also be reported to the carrier and the company within three days of delivery.
4. Non-delivery of goods must be reported in writing within three days of receiving the invoice or Advice Note, whichever is earlier.
5. Any claims regarding shortages, defects, or non-conformance with specifications must be made:
- Within five days of delivery, or
- Within a reasonable time after discovery if the defect was not immediately apparent.
- Claims must include relevant details such as order number and condition descriptions. 6. Failure to comply with these requirements may void the buyer’s right to make a claim.
7. If the buyer does not notify the company of issues as outlined, the goods will be considered accepted, and the buyer must pay the agreed price.
Limitations of Liability
1. If the company fails to deliver the goods due to reasons within its control, liability is limited to the difference in cost (if any) of sourcing similar goods in the cheapest available market versus the original price.
2. Special orders and unstocked items are non-returnable
3. Goods cannot be returned to the company’s warehouse without prior authorisation and a valid return authorisation number. Returns without authorisation will be refused.
