Coastal’s high-quality external door hinge is receiving critical acclaim among joinery companies as the “go-to” solution on their timber entrance doors, delivering a superior aesthetic and lasting performance over 3D Adjustable Hinge alternatives.

We truly believe this is the ultimate hinge solution on the market for your external timber doors. To let you see the benefits for yourself, we have a special introductory offer for you.

3D adjustable hinges are selected for reassurance of adjustability to account for doors dropping or swelling. However, there are significant issues with using 3D adjustable hinges for your external timber doors:

  • 3D Adjustable hinges are typically not designed with the necessary material grade and durable design to withstand the harsh external environments
  • Without precision design of the highest quality components, over time hinges performance deteriorates and leads to door dropping

With this in mind, Coastal’s goal was to design a precision engineered solution, offering vastly superior performance to lower quality ball bearing hinges all whilst bringing a much more pleasing aesthetic to your beautiful external timber doors

Introducing Coastal’s HQ4 Hinge and Shimwell Packer solution.

correcting a jamb that is out of alignment.

R&E Falkinghan Ltd.

Before standardising on these hinges, we used to use a hinge from another company and constantly had issues with them tarnishing. This caused a lot of snagging issues, which as we all know are expensive to fix. Since we moved to these BLU HQ4 hinges we've never had any issues at all.
