Coastal Group proudly presents The Classic Lever Door Handle Collection - a new range of external door and window hardware, crafted for style, durability, and versatility across all door types.
With two slim backplate options (092 and 095), three interchangeable signature lever designs, and five premium finishes, the collection offers tailored choices to complement both traditional and contemporary doors.
Redesigned Backplate for Enhanced Security
Our research and development team has developed two handle backplates (092 and 095) which are taller and slimmer, with an extended cylinder wall that improves security without compromising on design.
With upgraded features, including a dual sprung cassette for smooth, reliable operation, and chamfered edges on the euro profile to prevent water ingress, the new designs pair with any of our three signature levers – Opera, Regent, or Pera.
“The new range was developed in response to feedback from fabricators and joiners who wanted more choice without compromising on performance,” says Phil Walklett, Design and Engineering Manager, Coastal Group.
“We re-engineered the backplates to include a replaceable spring cassette and extended cylinder wall. The new design focuses on CNC precision to ensure consistency and quality across all finishes.”
Three Signature Levers - Multiple Possibilities
Each lever handle in the Classic Collection has been carefully designed to balance form, function, and flexibility. Paired with the 092 or 095 backplate, the three signature lever styles offer options for every design - from timeless tradition to contemporary minimalism.
Opera
The Opera lever handle is a refined balance of classic detail and modern design. With its distinctive bulb-shaped profile and concentric ring detailing, it brings character and elegance to any door. Paired with a slim backplate, Opera works across both traditional and classic style doors.
Regent
The Regent lever handle on backplate combines precision engineering with a contemporary edge. Designed for modern doors and inspired by the smooth lines or an oar, the wave-like curve of the lever leaves a great first impression.
Pera
The Pera lever handle offers a clean, contemporary design. Its smooth, gently curved lever and slim backplate with modern edges make it a versatile choice - ideal for new builds or as a subtle update to classic door styles.
